Music and study room

In the study room and library at Beit Theresienstadt there is a modest exhibition on music in the ghetto. Several of the composers and musicians in the ghetto, such as Viktor Ullmann, Hans Krasa, Karl Schwenk, Rafael Schächter, and Gideon Klein, are featured in the exhibition. Also displayed are items related to music in the ghetto from the Beit Theresienstadt archive, such as sheet music and posters. In addition, the room contains a piano donated by the late Hanan Bachrich, a survivor of the ghetto.
