Sport in Theresienstadt

The exhibition tells the story of different athletic activities and the soccer league in particular, which took place in the ghetto between 1942-1944. The league included teams for children, youth, and adults. Naturally, the adult league attracted the most attention: soccer practice, preparations for the games, support for the players or for one team or another, and gathering to watch the games, were a source of strength for the ghetto inmates in their struggle for survival, particularly the young, granting them moments of joy.
