Past Exhibitions
The exhibition encompasses historical exhibits from the Beit Theresienstadt archives and contemporary artwork corresponding with texts written by author and journalist Ruth Bondy (1923-2017) on the Holocaust.
The twenty-four sentences that accompany the exhibition were taken from prose texts, articles, and research studies, all written by author, publicist, journalist, and researcher Ruth Bondy. They were cut into concise lines of poetry that arouse thought and contemplation and have become the foundation for a tribute to her life and actions in the “Whole Fragments” exhibition.
The exhibition allows the visitors a gentle view of a tough subject and facilitates an open and instructive multi-generational discourse. The exhibition is also a tribute to Bondy’s inquisitiveness and fine-tuned writing.
Concurrent with the exhibition “Whole Fragments” at Beit Theresienstadt, two other exhibitions were opened in memory of Roth Bondy, and a joint festive inauguration ceremony was held for all three on November 23, 2018.
